Anne Yoder, PhD, director of the Duke Lemur Center, was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship and will pursue a sabbatical project entitled “Building and Saving Trees in Madagascar.” Yoder, a professor of evolutionary biology, will study how mouse lemurs evolve into distinct species from a field laboratory in northwestern Madagascar. Here she observes Sifaka lemurs in their habitat at the Lemur Center.
