On this date back in 1940, the Blue Devils defeated Princeton, 36-2, marking the first game ever played in Cameron Indoor Stadium, then known as Duke Indoor Stadium. The game was played in front of 8,000 fans, the largest crowd in the South to witness at basketball game at that time.  During the most recent home game against visiting Boston College, Attendees were provided with birthday hats to celebrate the anniversary.<br />
